Stephen has seen first-hand the challenges faced by the local school districts and the students due to billion dollar cuts in education made my the Corbett administration. Stephen is dedicated to getting public education back on the right track, restoring funding, and making sure that every student is afforded a quality education and the ability to afford higher education that will greatly impact their future and the future of Pennsylvania.

LIST OF ISSUES
EDUCATION
Stephen will help restore the $1 billion in cuts Governor Corbett made to public education. Stephen supports state-wide Pre-K programs. Stephen will seek legislation that incentivize private/public partnerships to create high-tech skill sets in public school students.
Veterans
Stephen believes that supporting our Veterans is not only deserved but the right thing to do. Our Veterans have earned quality healthcare. as well as, mental healthcare benefits, as well as the ability to get quality training to transition back into the civilian world.
LGBT
Stephen fully supports marriage equality, workplace protections, anti-bullying efforts, and violence prevention
efforts, for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered Pennsylvanians.
JOBS
Stephen will work to eliminate corporate tax breaks; he’ll support the responsible growth of Pennsylvania’s energy
industry, and will support tax incentives for manufacturers that pay a good wage and hire workers in Pennsylvania.
SENIORS
Unlike many of the present representatives from Lancaster County, Stephen will fight for the state to accept the Medicaid expansion. Stephen will work with the next governor to increase eligibility requirements based on income for elderly seeking residential or other care. Stephen will fight to lower property taxes, which represent a significant burden on senior homeowners.
